Stanley Center for the Arts Telethon raises $36,820!
A heartfelt thank you to the community and our wonderful sponsors who so generously supported the Stanley Center for the Arts Telethon on April 23, 2008.The event raised $36,820 for the Arts programs servicing children and families throughout the region. The event was sponsored by WUTR, HR Beebe Inc, Almy & Associates and EJ Construction.

AEI receives grant from NYS Music Fund!
The Arts in Education Institute (AEI) is the recipient
of a grant from the NYS Music for its Sabor Latino: The Afro-Cuban
Music of the Paul Carlon Octet. This grant provides AEI with
the opportunity to present school performances of afro-cuban music composed
by Paul Carlon & the Paul Carlon Octet as well as music arts in education
units of study for students of the Utica School District. An evening
community perforamnce is supported by this grant as well as several music
workshops conducted by Paul Carlon and several other performers. For
